This Privacy Policy explains how the Sparta mobile application and web portal ("Service") handles your personal data. This Service is part of the Erasmus+ Sport project titled "SPARTA - Building Digital Resilience in Sport: Cybersecurity Training for Coaches".

2. Scope and General Information

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sparta mobile application (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) and the associated web portal.

The Sparta App functions as a webview application that connects to our backend servers to provide training content, track progress, and issue certificates.

3. Data We Collect and Process

To provide the Service, we collect and process the following data:

A. Account Information (Required)

• Email address – used as your unique login identifier.
• Password – used to secure your account.

B. Profile Information (Optional)

• Real Name and Surname (Optional) – You are not required to provide your real name to use the App. However, if you wish to receive an official Erasmus+ Project Certificate upon completion of the training, you must provide your real First Name and Last Name so we can issue the certificate to the correct person.
• Profile Picture (Optional) – You may choose to upload a profile picture. This is completely optional and is displayed within your user profile.

C. Usage Data

• Course Progress – We store data on which modules you have completed to track your training progress and eligibility for certificates.

4. Storage Location and Data Hosting

We take data security seriously. Your personal data is stored on secure servers located within the European Union.

Data is stored in compliance with GDPR regulations. We protect your data using standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS).

5. Purposes and Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide the Service: To allow you to log in, access training materials, and track your progress (Legal basis: Performance of a Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To issue Certificates: To generate and provide your training certificate with your name, if you choose to provide it (Legal basis: Performance of a Contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To manage your Profile: To display your optional profile picture (Legal basis: Consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data may be accessible to technical service providers who assist us in operating our servers (e.g., our hosting provider Hetzner), acting strictly as data processors under our instructions and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as you maintain an active account with us to allow you to access your training history and certificates.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly through the App or Web Portal:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Navigate to User Profile in the menu.
3. Select Edit Profile.
4. Use the Delete Account option to permanently remove your account.

Upon deletion, your personal data (email, name, profile picture, progress) will be permanently removed from our active databases.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a user in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data (you can do this in the "Edit Profile" section).
• Delete your data (Right to Erasure).
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data Portability.

To exercise these rights, you may use the tools provided in the App (such as Edit Profile) or contact us at info@mobad.pl.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Sparta App is designed for coaches and adults in the sports sector. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy will indicate the latest revision.
